about me
Creativity is my favorite path back to myself.
If you’ve ever thought you’re not creative, remember: if you’re human, it’s in your blood.
I spent 17 years as a lawyer in top global corporations and running my own practice. It was exciting, intellectually rigorous, and I loved it. But somewhere along the way, I started to feel that something was missing: the creative spark I'd grown up with. I spent my childhood around film and darkrooms, waiting for my dad to finish his work, and I also graduated from a Fine Art school.
So I made a change. Five years ago, I returned to creating, and the closest, easiest tool at hand was my fiancé’s camera.
Soon enough, I got my own favorite camera, and photography became my playground. That place where I could just play, experiment, feel, create, and most importantly, a place to make mistakes.
And here's what I learned: creativity isn't just about art. It's about everything. It's how you solve problems. Make decisions. Navigate uncertainty. Build a life that feels like yours.
Most of my ideas arrive on long walks, in solitude, or somewhere inside a piece of music. I don't think we need more self-improvement chores, such as another app, another routine, another "have to." But rather something simpler: the messy joy of making something.
And if you've ever thought you're not creative, remember: if you're human, it's in your blood.
What I do now:
Through Inside a Mango, my weekly newsletter, I share insights and practical ideas for people who want to think more freely, more boldly, and stay creatively alive — whether you're navigating corporate life, building something new, or just trying to live with more imagination.
You know that feeling when time slows down, the noise disappears, and you feel at home in yourself, almost like you're dancing with life? That's what I'm after. That's what creativity gives us. And for decades, I've been studying what makes it possible: resourcefulness, play, attention, rhythm, the conditions that let us think freely. Now I'm writing about it, and you can join me every Saturday by subscribing below to my newsletter to get top ideas and fresh insights on creativity.
I also create fine art photography prints. A teacher once told me: art is the liberty to transcend reality with a personal perspective. So, I learned that we create more than can be seen; it is our duty and privilege to make the invisible visible, and I’ve carried that ever since. My curated print collections are here.
